Women police officers as part of the Women Police Network are taking several initiatives at organizational and national level. Efforts are being made to inculcate a better understanding of gender among both men and women police officers and reach out to the communities for better police services. They have accepted the task to encourage educated women to join police with an aim to increase the representation of women police across all ranks. Campaigns are planned in educational institutes in their respective districts and provinces to promote the role of women police as protectors of the rights of women in the society at large.
Women Councils prepare their individual and group activity plans to enhance police services for women in the community and improve their role as police officers. Members of the network are also supporting each other to join mainstream policing and contribute in making police a true service provider.
